Then you have a Main Phase 2 after the battle phase, in case you want to place any spell or trap cars face down on the field, or face up.

My face down is flipped up, we have Copycat on the field. He can copy any monsters ATK and DEF. Your attack is cancelled out.
His ATK and DEF are both the same as your monsters now. (I think I can activate this in battle)

Oooh, okay. I'll dig mine out.. -grabs a shovel- Now, I have a question, if the owner of the monster that is being attacked doesn't have a move, does the monster being attacked get sent to the graveyard?

Yes and you loose life points in the difference between the attack, as he was not in defense position. You started at 4000, your Batteryman is 100, my Junk Synchron is 1300. You loose 1200, making your life points 2800.
